Trailrider

I had two that were pretty distructive but only when I left for a short time. I should have crated them but both were the worse dogs in a crate. I was more worried they would hurt themselves in the crate. At any rate, if any consulation both grew out of it. But either grew out of their dislike of being locked in a crate. One bent the crap out of one of those big 4' long wire crates and destroyed the heavy plastic pan in it. Always liked to go in and just lay there, just don't close the door. Claustrophobic (sp) I guess...

A friend bought one of my pups... as she matured they discovered that she had a "mean streak"... not in the usual sense of the term.  When Vega would get in trouble... say tipping over the garbage... and her husband corrected her... Vega would wait til they went out and go into the bedroom, rustle thru the dirty laundry and steal all his underwear.  She'd bring every pair into the LR and there on the rug would gleefully gnaw out the crotch.  (She'd do the same thing to my friend's underwear if SHE were the one to scold).  Other than having to replace underwear fairly often it was kind of funny.  ;)
