Just an update... Nero's heeling is 100% better, with AND without his ball anywhere in sight. I must be packing his brain with
new info as he's "forgotten" what a recall is and what he's supposed to do when he gets to me. Sigh... it's back a few steps
on that one. His recalls were fast and straight... now they're slow and when he gets to me he just stands there staring at me, slightly
crooked of course.

Try holding the ball under your armpit sometimes visible sometimes not so your dog is never sure if it's there or not. Or try the 2 ball method were u always have to balls and whenever he brings the ball back after you reward him throw out the other one that is hidden in your pocket. The idea is that your dog will focus on you and not just the ball. Good luck.
