Are you going to meet Taunya when you are in Texas in June?
by tiffae89 on 06 April 2009 - 01:04
Hopefully when I go back to visit Terry again with my pup (probably when she gets about 12 -16 months) Taunya will be there and I could finally meet her. She has been so amazing. :) Terry owns Prada and has been wonderful to me.! These two women have been absolutely amazing!.!

Shes pretty. and I'm glad you have a companion that you can work, trust, and know will be loyal. I'm looking for a working prospect. I pray we will make it but I know that a puppy is no guarantee. I can only pray that I do the best in foundation work that I can and pray that everything falls into its place. Either which way. She will be a member of my family and my love. I have spent months trying to figure out what I want in a pup/dog. When I realized that I wanted a puppy I knew that there where no guarantees on how she will turn out. I'm not getting her to be a breeding bitch. I'm buying her to be my companion, friend, and my partner in sport. I buying her because the GSD is my love affair and Schutzhund has become a major part in my life and I'm ready to take that step. All I can do is hope and pray that we will do well. Work hard, Sweat, and Shed some tears of course.
Your girl is gorgous and amazing in everyway because she is yours and you love her. She is happy and well cared for and she works. You not only see her positive attributes you see her flaws and by recognizing both that makes you a better Handler and Owner.
Thank you so much for sending me the link! :)

Sire is ok if that's what you're looking for. I know of nothing negative about Galant. If Czech dogs are your thing, I think he's a fine choice.
Dam....I dunno. I don't get it, personally. Seems like a total wildcard. I don't know either dog personally, so who knows what the motive was behind breeding these two. I will give the breeder the benefit of the doubt.
I would hope these puppies would be less expensive than your "normal" working line puppy, as the dam is not Koer'd, has no show rating, and is untitled, as well as being an odd mix of showlines, also several untitled dogs in the first generations. I don't personally care about titles if I like the dog's temperament, but if you're looking for a sport dog, I'd think you would want at least a titled dam, if not Koer'd.
If you are looking for a nice pet, I'd say this litter will probably be just fine. If you are looking for a sport competitor, then I say good luck. All puppies are a crapshoot, but I think a mix like this leaves many, many doors wide open and the possibility of a litter with HUGE personality differences is pretty high.
This would be a litter in which I'd have to know both dogs personally to consider. Paper to paper.............wildcard.

Thank you for being honest! The only untitled dog is Jasmine. the rest were titled and never updated on the PDB from what we know.

She looks stunning and Terry loves her very much! Both Terry and Joe Tackett have told me VERY good things about her.
Thank you
