Thanks for listening. I am going to go play with mine (nice day out) and say a quiet prayer that I am wrong.

Actually there is a wolf sanctuary/breeding facility outside of St. Louis, Mo. and no they do not sell to the public but maintain a population to prevent species extinction and there is a local animal sanctuary that has the wolf I owned, plus many hybrids that the owners could no longer handle or keep-I work with the owner---here in Missouri one must have the licensing to have wolves or hybrids.

Do they need a permit or anything breeding the dogs over and over? There is usually more than one way for something like this...

Not that I have been able to find. At this point, without going out to the property (I have no idea where they live), I have nothing to go on. The pups looked generally healthy. No fleas, gums were fair, nothing physically wrong that I could see. It was just off. No 9 week old puppy that I know of won't at least engage their siblings in play when awake and in a play pen. All the puppies slept. Not one would fully wake up. People were handling, picking them up, talking, cars going by. Not reaction at all with any of the puppies.

Perhaps theywere just bored with being pulled about and shut down, especially if they go through this routine every day.
