Now we should pray.

by beetree on 10 January 2013 - 22:01

Well, for some reason, it works for me.  You can't know how many of my prayers have been answered.  I have no answer for that either.

Moons,

When someone shoots you, you could stick your head between your legs and kiss your ass goodbye if you don't want to pray. I have lived gun violence (death) and trust me it can happen to anyone meeting up with a person with a weapon and an attitude. Even if you are carrying it can happen.

More guns are not the answer, hasn't worked up to this point, more guns=more deaths  not less deaths.

I've been there GSD and even at that the real issue is beyond all this personal crap.

Moons,

You can't argue that more guns do not=more deaths. Look at our big cities. You can scream protection but a lot of shootings are people going off about stupid shit.

Oh well my feelings mean nothing in the big picture so I am stepping out of this mess.

I would hope most Americans would own guns to hunt but it seems most are scared of the boogie man and government, both of these reasons to me are a joke.

BTW, BOO!!! wow.

If you don't understand the Constitution GSD that's not my fault.
If you don't know where crime comes from I can't do much about that either.
If you don't believe in boogie men why do we have police.
And if you think your safe, your not.

lol, the constitution was written in a different era when guns shot one bullet at a time. so if i had a gun that shot nuclear warheads you would be good with it being readily available?

again, boo!!!

i am not scared, when it is my time i will be gone. boo!!! lmfao.

BTW, paranoia will destroy ya.

Im a canuck so my opinion may not count.. But we have guns  for animal control.  Meaning Bears, Wolf and Cougars.  It would be might stupid to go wanderin in our area without one. Huge Grizz population and Elk here.  Contrary to what people believe Bambi will attack, especially if you are walking dogs.  I have never used my rifle but I have taken training and certification to do so.  I can not see why people have such a meltdown at being required to take a gun handling coure BEFORE your are permitted to own a firearm.  It makes sense to get a drivers licence, why is it such a huge deal to have a training cert of some sort to own a gun.

GSD,
the principle is still the same, it's the law of the land, and I'm tired of having to fight over it every time we have an election or some crime on the news.
Now you can boo hoo all you want, that's just the way it is.
And it isn't being paranoid when your rights are at risk, too many have closed a blind eye already and you don't have the rights you think you do right now.

Moons.
