I swear I was instrumental in coining that phrase in the late 90's, early 2000's. Have I gotten even one red cent for it's more and more prevalent use? NO! In fact, I got kicked off a forum after using that word...now it's all mainstream. GRRR.

LOL

Thanks for sharing your insight and knowledge Jim. I found your article very interesting indeed. Theresa

Interesting reading, agreed.

Most people give George Carlin that honor Jenni.  Maybe he learned it from you?  LOL

politics, enfighting inbetween wda and usca, and the freeking paperwork is what is turning people off.

clubs where newbees are frowned upon, and people with showlines are asked not to come back........

its too bad.......

newest stunt.....
www.nass2012.org points to usca website......wda member switched over and took all the url's....... stupid shit that makes new people not want to join, and existing members want to quit.

Joking...figured I'd have to explain that at some point.

I merely started using it to describe what was happening in GSDs. Of course I didn't invent it.

by Alamance on 02 October 2012 - 09:10

Please explain two things ---

1)  The link going from what one might think was WDA and instead going to UScA

2)   Some one changing and taking all the url's

Sounds very interesting!!!

Great Read, Thanks for sharing!

Sitasmom I agree! I had a puppy client try to get into a club in MA./CT. and all the clubs she went to turned her away:( Now her and the pup are excelling at french ring since they were willing to take her in as a newbie!

That is just disgusting, truly a new low for the person AND the USCA. Theresa

Huh.  Maybe I'm lucky but I've so far had good experiences at all the WDA, USCA, and SDA clubs I've attended or visited (and I have show line dog).  I switched to USCA because it is more active in my area, more clubs and events.  Also they accept OFAs for surveys and accept the titles I've been awarded at WDA events (under SV judges) but it doesn't work the other way.
