Hi All,

Where are these dogs located?  I could be interested in taking the dam (possibly).  I have always been a lover of "extra large" (miniature horses as my husband likes to call them) dogs.  I have been a keeper of Fila Brasileiros (Boerboel's with a hot trigger, hehe), and am experienced with "special needs" breeds, so to speak.  While I am no expert, I have great respect for all Molasser breeds and the capabilities these amazing dogs posess.  I preferred to go the rescue route if possible first.  I would be willing to start some kind of dialogue with whoever is spearheading this placement.  Thanks!

Jocelyn, email me and I will get you in touch w/Steph. She doesn't post here anymore.

I sent you a PM with my contact info.

Why doesn't Steph post here anymore? Too busy with the rescue or did something happen that a newbie like myself is unaware of?

I don't know for sure. Rumor has it she was banned, but I try to stay out of that crap. I really don't know. I just know she won't see these posts so I want to get her the info if someone qualified is able to help these dogs. Last I talked to her, they still needed homes.

I am very sad to hear some of you describe these dogs, i have breed these dogs and have come to know and love them very much. Yes they are wonderful with family and when at home are very protective as should be. but when raised right they are wonderful dogs to have out in public. Maybe some of you need not have them let alone rescue them. we have trained all our own dogs and as a responsible breeder we have done home checks and family checks before selling our dogs and stayed in contact with our family. So all this talk about these dogs being so aggressive and killers really you need to stay away from these dogs they are not for you. You need to spend some time with a real breeder of Boerboels and get to no this breed. They are not killers, they don't hunt lions, and they arent aggressive if bread right.
