We have to replace some of our runs.  What type have you purchased?  Are they still in business?  Have you been happy?  We bought some locally made panels and they rusted out on the bottom rail in less than 5 years.   Anyhow would love your thoughts.

I like the ones from OptionsPlus best; hands down. Great product, great warrenty, great customer service, at least that's always been my experience :)

I have a small one (8ft x 8ft; 6ft high) that I got from a site called Shelter Solutions. It was on sale for $250 and included a roof. I like it as well.

I avoid chain-link prefab kennels. Most use a high guage link that doesn't hold up to an active shepherd for very long. Too flimsy. If you get something industrial, say from Hoover Fence, that will hold up, but otherwise, it's best to avoid chainlink in my experience.

We have a few AKC Wire 10X10X 6 foot high Kennels, they had prefab roofs with tarp like tops.. that blew away. We Hard roofed them with 2X4X12s and corigated steel roofing. They have been very hardy for about 4 years.

I have options plus also, easy to install and the people you deal with are very nice and accomadating.  The only problem is they are not crated properly because truckers always seem to dent, ding or bend the panels, which then requires straightening and  touch up spray paint. In terms of durability I can't comment yet because I haven't had them for 5 years. They are strong, safe for the dogs and look good though.

I have kennels by Behrens, club kennel sold by southern States. They are welded wire and are a bit more expensive that chain link, but worth it. about the only chain link kennels i would consider worthwhile would be Mason.

Thank you all for the replies!  The runs we are replacing are all chainlink.  Would prefer the welded wire ones.I think they look nicer too. Not so "cagey" :)
