I'm assuming that's for an adult dog.  If so, that's about what I paid last time.

That is close to what I paid a year ago.

I just paid 720 Euros two weeks ago from Germany to California for an adult 75lb male. I just paid 620 Euros for a one year old female last week. Both dogs were shipped using Petair. You can actually call them or email them yourself to book the flight out of Frankfurt, just tell them your info, address and phone number and who will be dropping the dog off. Good luck :)

Shipping from Frankfurt should be 750 euro which should roughly be $1000.....can be as high as 850 euro which is roughly $1100......so depending on the size of the dog your getting i would say it is very possible that its 100-200 to high

Not that its any of my business but it makes me wonder what your paying for the actual dog????  I can probably tell you if thats a little high also. Just need to know the dogs age, training, titles, etc....

Is that the cost for just shipping with a crate or does it include picking the dog up from the owner and taking it to the airport? There are usually two costs involved in shipping. One is the crate and flight, the other is travelling to to the owner and picking the dog up. Sometimes the dog arrives to late for the flight that leaves that day and has to spend the night for the flight the following day. There is an additional cost for that service.
