Dog trainer cannot be called a dog broker but a trainer.

It is always fair and its happening for many people to buy adult/ puppies and have them trained and re sold for a purpose.

If he was buying and just selling then he would be a broker.

I would call him a rehomer, good samitarian & i would hire him to train my dogs.

srilankagsd,

If you would do as you say, you are a fool. I would never work with a trainer who had so little respect for the "rules" and felt leashes are only for other people. Secondly, taking dogs in, training, and reselling them is just that. That in the English language does not equate to "good samaratan". If you want a competent trainer we can find one for you.  I just trained a man from in you area who has better sense and more credibility than this person. But no, he does not suddenly and shamelessly promote himself on this board.

In the case of dogtrainer, she is a woman, and there is much to understand about her claims..........as others have already pointed out.

SO, Sharon,  I see that you charge an "adoption" fee on your website.  Why is that?  Isn't that making $$$?  You should just give the dogs away.

Trust me, there is no one on this board who needs my services(I train dogs mainly for autistic children and people with disabilities.)

I house train teacup poodles and malteses for filthy rich people who don't have any more sense than to go to a pet store to buy a dog.

I have clients all over the world----Italy, Spain, Virgin Islands, Panama, France......Only obedience, problem solving or assistance dogs.

But, truthfully, I think you are jealous....and I feel very, very sorry for you.....I could point you to someone to train a dog for those mental illness issues you have going on.

Glad you could find the web site Karla. The adoption fee is essentially vet charges. Not that you would understand, but no one covered the hip replacement I did on a 1 year old injured male. No one covered the orthopedic surgery to fix a muilti-broken leg on a three year old GSD hit on a freeway. No one covered about $21,000 I spent on vet bills for dogs in my rescue program several years ago. No one covered the euthanasia fee and cremation costs I incurred just a few months ago when I had to put down a dog that belonged to Susan Barwig (you probably don't know who that is) I had taken in 6 plus years ago and cared for as if she was my own (along with 6-8 others at a time).  I took her in because the dog was going to be put to sleep if a suitable home could not be found. She was a bit sharp and SchH trained and no one would take her. So I think if you have questions about how I work the rescue program I have run for the last 10 or so years, it might be wise to simply ask. Otherwise, you don't know what you are talking about.

Your admitting who you work with says it all. You are about taking advantage of anyone, including those "filthy rich" you mention above. How pathetic that you do that....but if you can do it, I guess you will. That is the difference between you and a lot of people on this forum who have questioned who you are and what you are about.

As for your clients all over the world, sure.....there are fools everywhere, if you have done anything you claim to have done. In the meantime, tell us about your ignoring rules and showing off in an event which put other dogs and people in jeopardy. Many know about it, but perhaps the others would like to hear about it. We will let you tell the story first. Then perhaps we can bring in those who will tell it differently.

I guess I'm a horse broker. I bid against the meat man for horses, take them home feed em good, train them endurance and jumps, then sold to show people, usually the same people, but I get my asking price all the time, and they come to pick-up. Actually, I can't keep up with them... but this is a good thing. I do this mostly because I can't stand the meat man bidding on a quality, sound, unfed horse. It pisses me off. So, I make room for these horses. Call it what you want. Phoooeeey !!

In rescuing dogs or horses for that matter. No money should be made.Hanging a sign out is a selfish act no matter what re-training or "Undoing is done".

What?  Not sure I understand your paragraph.

"Adoption fees range between $400.00 to $1000.00, depending on the training and the dog."
