Wondering what supplements help with hips and joints. My boy was limping for a few days.
I noticed that he only seems to limp when he runs.
Any advice?
Any suggestions on supplements or things that people use to help.
He does Protection Sports and has some trials coming up in the summer and I am sure he is not the only working dog that has limped before.
He doesn't seem to be in any pain, wants to run and play and has no problems getting up and down.

Thank you in advance

Before you give him anything, see a vet. It could be a soft tissue injury in which case rest would be important. After exercise, liniment such as Actorub or Veterinary Absorbine will encourage healing.

To build muscles and joints, you could use Actobands

As to what supplements to give, there are lots of possibilities. Sometimes rimadyl for a few days might be all you need. Long term there are things such as Glucosamine, Condroiten and MSM, Cosequin, Wobenzym, DGP and NK-9,

I have had great luck with Duralactin and I only use l/2 dosage recommended on container ordered it from chewy.com; has all the goodies for active dogs that crash a lot and are active. I did cut down even more lately but still want to keep all ingredients in my boys system. Good luck...

Have a vet check him out.

Bone broth is rich in glucosamine and chondroitin...I feed it daily. I also feed sardines (rich on Omega-3's) three times a week.
