Well, it as been awhile since I posted.
Whisper has had a very trying year. I have almost lost her a few times. She contracted a fungus that went into her bone marrow. Even the vet at Tx A&M said she may not make it.
Long haul since April 29th, but we made it. She is back healthy, rambunctious, a full on B... when she wants to. I love her to pieces though.
As soon as she gets through this 1st heat, we are going to start training for Monidoring. I cannot wait. We have pre-lims and Cardio testing next month to see how far we can go.
We have done a Rally or two, but she got sick shortly after we start. I will pick it back up next year. It is fun and good obedience training.
New pics as soon as I can get them in.

In some cases, the animal must have a limb amputated. In Whisper's case it attacked her bone marrow.
For example, in the US Mississippi Valley, flooding, warm winter, DOGs DIGGING..... Then breathing. Normal life, nothing new.
May - I am crying, trying to make the best and most humane decision. Here is my post
"Now add... Puppy, little bit of a dip in immunity, no major signs... Minor diarrhea (test show parasite - treat), sleeper than normal (about the time for first heat, so no bell), still showing signs of parasite, not surprising, find and treat source. 2 months in - still sleeping and not a curtain climber. Let's do blood work..... She is crashing.
I can't describe how much it hurts to see a puppy that, at 9 weeks, had 3 grown German Shepherds bringing her toys, letting her have first pick of treats, showing her how to play tug, tag, keep away the German Shepherd way. She was growing into a beautiful athletic dog, that was starting to give the other dogs a run for their money. Now, at 9 months, lifts her head up to watch the other dogs play then puts it right back down."

I just saw this, wow! Thank God, Whisper survived her ordeal. And you—too. It must have been an extremely anxious time for you. Please do update with new pictures!
