I personally don't see any reason for the outrage that arose from VK's original video, to be quite honest. That's a snapshot of a part of his dog's training.

Appreciate Susie's and Joan's input to bring some sanity to the thread, and quiet down some of the misplaced outrage, where there is an innate expectation that we need "Labs or Goldens in GSD clothing" and kill off what little GSD characteristics remain in the GSDs of today.

Hey VK once again nice dog. Here we have access to good dogs and good helpers and I will say it again, NICE dog. He shows very well especially considering your level of expertise and the newby helper.

I would use such a dog for PP any day and he probably would have been a good IPO dog.

Ignore the usual chatter from people who talk but never show anything. I can post vids of my dogs doing protection on suit or IPO obedience and Ill say it again. Good job.

The way your training is not going to make a "killer" dog because the dog is clearly not a nervebag. Would I train him different? Yes, but still keeping in mind the resources available to you, this is good to see.

Enough talking show your dogs or be quiet.
