OK kids. Back to the question. Why would WUSV allow, and be party to, such an apparently obvious change of rules to the benefit of so few?

Trying to answer your question...
Being a member of WUSV doesn´t necessarily mean that you need to use the German rules for a Siegershow.
There are several clubs/states using their "own" rules regarding the major show events ( even without any bitework ).
Any German judge judging outside of Germany has to follow the rules of these countries or to stay at home.
Simply said, it´s up to you.

You missed the point that apparently......well go back and read the original post. We are all aware that the judge must judge according to local rules and that local rules tend to differ between countries.
