With all due respect to all friends, will you please start another post for the other issues about this dog, we are here to talk about his structure not his ownership and other legal and contract issues, please do not be offended, I don't mean to, start a new post, we are here on this post to learn and talk conformation.

It would not have been brought up if the poster and others had not questioned why people were unhappy to see the thread. They introduced this discussion not us.

Nobody really questioned it. You just took it upon yourself to answer for other people (as you are wont to do). It really didn't matter overall.

Then I repossessed my dog after I got smart about the sub-standard care, handling and the way the dogs were being housed
Actually, I told you to come get your dog and puppies (which you sent somebody ELSE to do) after you decided that we could continue to raise YOUR litter "without your monetary support", and I said no.

I I understand this right from the posts from both here today:
The breeder gave you security deposit back, gave you the puppy, sent food, meds, and heartworm preventative, and paid for entry fees and expenses for the care of the dog and you were to whelp litter and show her dog in some trade for puppy received and you told her to come get them because you wanted her to give you money to? How is that working off the price of the puppy if you wanted payment to? You said remove the dogs and she did, so the work was not completed and you still have free donated dog that is not being used for the donated purposes?
yeesh take it to court, is the best option here.
As far as critique the dog is handsome, not my type in bone, but truly a wonderful looking dog that I think would be fun to work with. He needs more activity based on his muscle tone IMO.

Molly did not send food, meds, OR heartworm preventative. That was all on us. She gave me ONE bag of food the entire time I had her animals, and that was only because she didn't have any cash on her to give me gas money. We fed her dogs with OUR money. Hell, she FORBID ME to put flea medicine on her bitch and told me I could only use diatomaceous earth, because "she couldn't afford to lose the litter".
Her animals were BATHED while they stayed with us, and properly groomed out. Heartworm medication? Again, we had to use our own stuff. She didn't provide that.
Of course she paid for the entry fees. It's HER dog. NOBODY pays for the entry fees of somebody else's dog. That's common sense.
Cripes, I brought her dog back to HER home to whelp because she decided last minute that I couldn't whelp the litter at my house. And then she got mad when I didn't bring dog food to feed HER animal! Of course I didn't! It's not my dog! She's back on the property of the owner....why wouldn't the owner have food for her dog?! I asked her specifically what she fed so I could feed it while the pregnant bitch was in my possession so it wouldn't be a concern when she was returned.
Seriously, ridiculous.

Take the receipts with you to court and solve the issues. Take your contract. Come to a payment agreement for the dog and just please give him a full life with someone and do not hold on to him just to spite someone you are in disagreement with. You and the dog are not a match, it happens. That is what I care about is the dog.

by Xeph on 23 May 2013 - 18:05
Yeah, and I also care about the dog. It isn't about keeping the dog out of spite. Hell, maybe you should have, I dunno, messaged me and asked some honest questions, instead of accusing and using incomplete information.
But that would have required a little extra work.

I am not the only one who has asked you to think of this dog and rehome him. I do not care what you think about me and the crap you want to portray about yourself on here so why would I ask you anything when you have proven time and again you are unable to listen to advise or have rational conversation with people? From past experience with you I would rather hug a porcupine and I am not a hugger.I do care about dogs, all dogs and for him I have broached this subject.

All I know is a contract is a legal binding document, doing things out of spite is not going to resolve this issue. If this dog is not doing what the breeder gave him to you for, then give him back. End of it. Trying to sell him or whatever is not right. He is a handsome wonderful dog, that could make someone extremely happy.
This seems very bizarre, and I hope this ends quickly and he gets returned to the breeder.
