Gator is very convenient, plus they run along loose ( individually) while we drive on the property, so if I needed them for protection that's what I'll be driving. ( actually happened with a poacher two yrs ago with that male, another time with his sister, she drove off some people who were trespassing....obedience is imperative).

Is Nukem Thor's auntie? Both dogs have nice deep grips, that Nukem hit with a lot of force in second vid!

She's his aunt, sure is, :-) 

Thanks. Genetic grips and I did do foundation work myself, when they were pups.

Both enjoy, unfortunately, it's not often my decoy is able to get away from work and make the long trip down the mountain.
He put IPO 3 on Nukem's sister last month. Only his second dog training and titling for IPO, all HOT, both females from me.
He's come a long way in eight years he's been involved in the sport.

Here's a short clip of that genetic grip that Joan was talking about.   This dog is a nephew of Joan's dog Nukem - Thor v Ron.     Thor was started as a pup with sport foundation of grip, targeting, countering and prey work.     As he matured, his defense drive came out, and now he is nicely balanced, only needing me to get him some good helper work (4 hr drive away).       This vid is from last summer.    The helper said his grips are crushing in the trial sleeve.

I like this dog a lot. Typical working style for a nice female which is a good thing. Males seem to work a bit different. Also not bad better or worse just different
