GSDfan sory if it sounded that way, was not my intention... We are very far for having it all figure out, as I said we are learning and I placed the movie exatly to ear some honest positive/negative feedback. We are beeing schooled but never anyone knows it all... Realy sory if I ofended you, you seen to know a lot and I would love to learn more from you and all the guys in the forum (in Portugal there is a real "mob" in this tipe of working and no one wants to help anyone becoming beter, and defenetly no forums to discuss this tipe of training). Realy sory, please forgive me...
She is not bitting well for a full trained dog, in my opinion (and may be biased , because she is mine and have not too many terms of comparison here) she is nice for a puppy with a few months of training and her first time doing something like this, don't you agree? She still have a lot to improve and so does Flávio. I will defenitly look into your advice on placement of the bite and will defenitly continue in the sleeve work =)

Ana try locate tiago fontes, he has good dogs and knows what he is doing. He is a lawyer somewhere in Portugal.
you don't need to ask anyone for forgiveness, gsdfan is a good trainer but she is not the pope.
all you can do is the best you can at any given time and place with the resources and knowledge you have just keep it fun for the dog.

Koots unfortunatly we don't have many Portugueses decoys... Wilma, our other decoy, is more experienced than Ricardo, but she is also still learning, is doing this for about a year or two, but we defenetly see the diference with Becky working with one or another, will try to work more with Wilma thanks for the advice.
By the way, is it any tipe of work we can do at home (just me and Flavio) to improve this tipe of thing? Like with the thug or something like that? Or is it only work doable with a good decoy?

vk4gsd I know Tiago father, he is the owner of Becky kennel name (Quinta do Salomão), but they live very very far away, like other side of the countrie far away...
We are working with a realy good dog trainer, we (association in general) just don't have many time or resources to work with here, but soon things will change. But we all have to star somewhere right?
She may not be the pope, but I don't like ofending anyone and was never my intention, so yes I ask for forgiveness =)
*and again ask for forgiveness in my writing, it defenetly doesn't help =P Have said before, and will say it again, if you guys all want to talk Portuguese I will rock it! =)

I don't want to talk Portugese but I would love you to translate song lyrics from my favourite band in the world who are Portuguese - Sepultura, you heard their album Roots?

Koots Thanks! Will defenitly try some more stuff at home, we were told not to "play" the thug to much at home, for it to bee a "special reward" only, it is defenitly Becky's favorite toy, she likes rag balls and some vinil chwing toys but not as muchs as the thug so we don't do that to much at home, but now we will search deeper into it. Thanks ;)
vk4gsd not a big fan of Sepultura (to dark for me shame on me I know) but I can translate whatever you need, it might take a while but will gladly do it. Search: Xutos e Pontapés "O Homem do Leme" "Maria" "Circo de feras" and Tara Perdida "São Memórias" and some more other songs of this two bands, AWSOME portugueses rock music, not as dark as sepultura

AnaSilva no problem just trying to help
The young dog must be built up, he learns he will win and can hurt the decoy. If they are unsure of these things they will have low tolerance for pressure situations and stressful environments (not good for police/military dogs). It is not just about ...dog runs, good...dog bites, good ...that's it.
Maybe that is ok for you, but you are not training your dog to their potential. You are not raising their thresholds for pressure as high as they can be. You are not teaching them to bite (punch/fight) as well as they can be taught.
Here is a young dog I am training, working some grip work into environmental exposure and some decoy pressure...but when the dog grips well I convey to him he hurts me so his confidence raises and he is empowered.
Same dog on a suit a few months later
