Bubba, everything Eve does must be wide open, she has a hard time with calm. She is a happy, chaotic dog. Will do things to please me, but to ask her to do them calmly is a battle that I will probably not win. I could give examples, but they would all be the same essentially. Recalls, wide open, will bowl me over almost but tail is wagging and she is very happy. Tracking has been the biggest challenge, and I am picking and chosing my battles on that one. She is a correct tracker but not necessarily slow and methodical, but not chaotic. Retrieves are amazing, but to ask for a calm hold on the return is well . . . we are working on it. No force necessary for her at all. I will be excited to see what she produces with her first litter (late summer planned)! I believe they will need to go to special homes if they are like their mom!
