I think it can be very difficult to pinpoint the reason for faulty movement in a dog, especially the front movement. Some dogs (like Dingo for example) look like faulty movers on a still but he when steps out he presents a far different picture. Some dogs simply use themselves better than others.

Thanks, Blitzen, but I really think Joan is right, as she often is... I am glad it is not a fault that is likely to affect her anywhere but the conformation ring, which I gave up on long ago, when I had her spayed, due to one mildly dysplastic hip, and her badly faded pigment.
Best laid plans, and all that... paid full breeding price for her! She's got five Siegers/siegerins in the first 4 generations of her pedigree on the German side, and a whole slew of Grand victors/selects/ROM dogs on the American.
She was my first effort at picking a pedigree bitch, so, yeah, there were some things I missed...
Others I hit the bullseye on, like really nice temperament, gunsure, lots of ball drive, etc.
