OM

Obedience Master The letters OM may be added after a dog's name when it has earned a total of 200 OM points awarded to dogs earning a 190 or better from the Open B and Utility B classes based on the schedule of points established by the AKC Board of Directors. The OM will be followed by a numeric designation indicating the number of times a dog has met the requirements of the OM title up to 10. [ Obedience Trial    I never heard of it either, had to look it up on the AKC site.

Always wondered what OM meant  : )

Thanks. We've been fortunate to find the ideal owner for Gabe. He will trial for his TDX in the fall if he makes the draw. He has some more agility legs, not sure which class, agility confuses me, so he might finish that degree this year. He will be trialed as long as he enjoys doing it.

Nans I think his owner plans to show him at some more AKC shows so we'll see what happens.  He was best puppy in sweeps at a GSDCA specialty show. We think he may be the first half German dog to do that. He also did OK at the GSDCA National specialty in spite being the only half German male entered in conformation at that show. I think times are changing a bit in the AKC world.

Blitzen hoep you are right about times changing with AKC;  I wish them well.  He's a really pretty boy.  BOL  Can you keep us posted on his progress, would love to follow.  Nan
