If someone breeds two dogs in Germany then ships both dogs to the US and does another breeding, the only difference is the registry. One litter will have SV registration while the other would have AKC.
Either way you go, you'll have "just normal AKC papers" even if you imported the pup!

Ibrahim and Susie I hate to tell you but to get a quality West German Conformation line here in the states that comes from a Kennel that competently, repeatably places in the top half of a SV style show in the states $2,500 is the minimum price.

The only advantage in an import pup would be if the breeder comes over to the US and handles the dog him/herself it would not be because the dog is superior quality.
