i  want my dogs locked in a kennel with a padlock and chain and not approached or moved. they can throw some food into the kennel.

No one seems to be able to read or comprehend simple instructions these days!   So........

If you are only leaving your dogs for a couple of days....Put Your Own Padlock on the Kennel!

Water buckets can be filled from outside, food tossed in......a little bit of dog shit in their kennel won't kill them.

Yes I know, emergencies happen and dogs need to be removed from the kennel, having said that my advice is structured to the question!

Keep it simple and

Most boarding facilities I have known over the years have a two indoor to one outdoor ratio in their kennel and this is so that a dog that cannot be handled or the owner does not want handled can be let out and then into the neighboring indoor kennel so that the soiled one can be cleaned by way of gates controlled by cables from outside the run. Look for a different kennel that will respect your wishes and is designed in this manner. You may have to look a little farther from home in some areas to find a goos kennel. I personally do not board and would not board where kids are being the care takers.

Perhaps if none available where you are, if you are driving can take them along and board them near where you are staying? Just a long shot idea :) I always get my 22 year old to dog sit at the house for me.

Lock them in your own kennel - and pay somebody to throw food into them.......Seems pretty simple.....

find a border kennel, that get your trust, reading your post seems your biggest problem isn't the concern of your instructions not beeing followed but the fact that there are kids working there.
we have several civil biting service dogs comming here while handlers are on vacation, thats way all or kennels have a "lock from the outside" between the inside and outside kennel but it's very rarely i use it most of the time just to keep them outside/inside while i clean the other side
giving them food or water i can't remeber giving me any problems as long as you act normal, normal stable/dominant dogs will do the same thing and don't see you as a treath only unstable (read scared, nervous wrecks) cause problems when treated in a normal way
just tell them not to take the dogs on a walk/give them commands and for the rest let them do their job as they want
