zmod...it was months ago..i say October of last year...I did stated "few months back"...
and yes, I was one of the people who always thought GSD was fair, logical and straight to the point, in MY experiences I had no issues with him as a mod...as I added to clarify my post, I personally Do not think GSD is SP...

I will agree that changes have been for the better within last year and this forum has less drama in overall and a lot less stupidity except for few posts now and than...

LF, At that time we had a whole different crew of mods. All those mods were replaced  at the end of November. It probably stopped about that time. I believe you were not alone on getting stuff deleted at that time. I think you will find a whole bunch of members who were having things deleted.

Like zmod says we keep track of most of these things. We have to just for these very reasons. Deleted messages are saved, deleted threads are saved, when we do admin actions we start a thread and for the most part discuss it among all mods. Very rarely is it one mod making a lone decision.

Just wondering, aside from you how many of original mods remained post November? ...you dont have to answer...i am just currious.

Lady Frost, Mr Darcy just informed me the mod names are located at the bottom of the TOS. I don't have a perfect memory, but SitePictureK9 mod is probably the newest mod. Wagging and Mr. Darcy came together and arrived about the middle, and Stray Pixels and Zmod are probably the veterans, aside from GSD, Himself.

It seems really weird to me that Sock Puppet, Stray Pixels and now SitePictureK9 all begin with SP!  It is a coincidence I'm sure, but still, LOL

I think that Sock Puppet violated TOS #7 regarding his posting towards you, LF. And he should man up and apologize.

but i think he took it more personal than i did, i am loving my free time until something new starts within next few weeks and i don't have issues separating internet from the real life, i didn't mean to hurt his pride but he was not taking a hint of keeping it civil ....I can appreciate witty, smart remarks and even some jabs but to keep it on a civil level....so i may have said things he misinterpreted, like taking vacation with Ace...LOL
anyways...he will be back, he always comes back and i am sure will start it up again...oh well..part of internet life...if it wasn't nona or maggie where else would he be able to exercise his virtual dominance?  Now that i know he can only dish it out, i will refrain from addressing him in the future...problem solved. :)

One swore that they were not able to mod back then due to medical reason. However, by Feb it was very clear what their motives were! That mod wanted to rule with an iron fist and felt OT's should only be allowed once a month! They started locking threads and being a bit snotty, and not telling us why things were being done.

Gsd set in new rules on how the members should be treated. And then GSD and Zmod said sorry to board! Once they did that the mod flipped out! Called GSD horrible names and left!

And by the way only one other (newer) mod has left on their own because of time issuses!

Thanks for that explanation StrayPixels.  It makes things much easier to understand.  I agree the moderation is much better now and I certainly enjoy the array of topics (off topics).  It makes this board much more interesting.  

I also agree with Slamduncs posts, well said Jim.  With more power comes more responsibility.

I wish some of the old posters would come back, I miss them.

As far as LF and Sp's exchange....

I did not edit it because

1) It was posted in the OT forum where things like that are allowed

2) Way worse things have been said by other people to other people, that still remain in the OT

3) Everything SP said can be found on the pages of these forums

4) His comments were to Hans and not her, up to that point.  
    She knows SP and still chose to make a comment to him.
 

SP you got a point...like i said..now that I know he can't take it, i will refrain from commenting next time..I did ask GSD to remove off topic posts made by both him and I only due to the fact that they were completely off topic when it came to Bartness relevance and anyone who would do search on her will have to read that.
