Roughly 80% of world arms and defense spending is by the USA and US Allies.  The USA's European Allies and NATO outspend Russia .. In Asia the Asian allies of Japan, S. Korea, and India spend half as much as China as well as other Asian or Pacific Allies such as Australia, New Zealand, and the Phillipines not counted in the total.  Saudi Arabia and Israel also spend around the same as Russia and half as much as China on arms.

I find myself in the health care pinch this coming year and with open enrollment ongoing for healthcare.gov I decided to give it a try. What I found out is - I can get a policy for about 100.00 a month with 0 deductible, 1800.00 max out of pocket - 0 to 25.00 Dr visits  -  0 to 50.00 specialists  -  5.00 copay on scripts so whoever you are getting your info from is dead wrong. The company I work for the insurance they offer is about 240.00 a month  -  massive copays  -  8000.00 out of pocket  -  20.00 scripts so you are flat out wrong. Because of Obama care my dependents and I will now be able to stay healthier longer and if we should have an emergency health situation it is great we won't have to go into the poor house to get decent health care. And my wife will be covered on her pre-existing conditions.

 

I voted for Obama in both elections because he was the best man for the job. McCain and Palin - WTF. Dumb and dumber.  Romney  -  lol, yeah he is a winner, huh? He is an admitted animal abuser. It was simple - the best person got my vote. Gigante - you said it shouldn't be about color or sex in one post but the previous post says it all and the way you truly feel, any 5th grader reading what you wrote would have no problem drawing certain conclusions from what you wrote. I look at all the republicans who are running and I run away because not one of them is smarter than a 5th grader. So, are you smarter than a 5th grader?

Your inability to comprehend should not lead you to the belief that anyone running for the presidency is dumb. The Obama tax scheme, Obama care, drags other families with medium to moderate to higher incomes to the poor house with exorbitant high health care double and often triple or greater what they use to pay prior and now with less coverage. So flat out correct and right she is..... It is those families and those people who are taking care of your families medical bills. Those are the facts for 5th graders. So your thankfulness is misplaced.

The illegal tax needs to be demolished. We were a wealthy enough country to have had health care within the reach of all, we declined to do that. Trimming a lot of fat of the stats boo just posted could have helped lower income with health care, finset car for our vetrans, homeless etc.

Your inability to comprehend my posts should also not leave with the impression I'm republican. I was truly hoping you would lay out something almost intelligent as to why you voted for him. Best man for the Job sounds like a 5th grade school election poster.

Don't you 2 see the hypocracy in their choice to use Obamacare? There must be something about it or those mid - high income folk/politicians wouldn't use it, ya know the ones who have tried to defund it over and over. Or are they also poor and taking away from you? Let the working poor go to hell as long as the middle and rich are covered, right? Sad. Sad. Sad. Before Obamacare if a poor person couldn't pay their health care needs who paid it when the hospital bills went unpaid?

Gsd, I'm not talking about the people like you using Obamacare...I'm talking about the people who's premiums and deductible have skyrocketed by insurance companies so that the insurance companies cover your insurance...which they are 'forced' to provide.

My premiums are paid for by me and with a government tax credit - if others premiums have gone up it isn't because of me or the tax credit - it is mostly due to insurance company greed. If I am paying my premiums with a government tax credit how is that affecting what you pay for your insurance? The cost of covering me is about the same as to cover you - you don't pay more to cover me because my premiums are being met. You aren't making sense. But on the other hand if I can't pay then yes every time you go to the Dr/hospital you are paying more to cover me. You are backwards on this. My premiums are being paid so the insurance companies aren't raising yours to pay mine. Yes, they are forced to provide me coverage that I am paying for whether I pay it all cash or use a tax credit it makes no difference to the insurance companies.

Please explain how an insurance company who is receiving the full premium amount  for me is passing some hidden cost on to you. You are wrong.

My sister works in the belly of the beast that is the US healthcare industrial complex. The USA has the most bloated and inefficient health care system in the developed world because insurance companies, hospitals, and penis pill companies are liars and cheats but understand pay to play politics. Insurance company fraud and game playing adds 30% to our health care costs, limits preventive care options, and prefers that the patient has a heart attack versus preventing one. Grow up people the US health care system is inefficient, vastly over rated, and yields poor results for patients. Doctors, hospital bean counters, corporate leeches, and pill pushers make decisions for the US public by buying congressional support for the most profitable treatments for their stock portfolio and bank accounts. Rich corporations and the 1% are running the USA and have been for years by owning the politicians ( Congress and President ) and the government agencies ( FDA, EPA, USDA ) which regulate our lives. At the end of the cold war the hope was that the USSR would break up and turn into the USA but the truth is that the USA has turned into Russia .. run by the CIA and intelligence spooks spying on the citizens with oligarchs and rich corporate "citizens" having control of the masses.

Gsd, if you are getting equal coverage for a mere fraction of the premium and no deductible, while someone else not on obamacare has their premiums and deductible quadrupled during the same time for the same coverage as you, then it is clear that you are being covered by the other customer....simple math.
