DesertRangers

A new member of this board was complaining that alot of people here seem to argue and bicker alot. Some may take offense but I don't at all. I have noticed over the years that many of the best dog people are very independent, strong willed and want to do things their own way. Because of this many of them get into arguments with each other including myself. I don't mind because as I said in a previous post you need to "read" between the bickering and you will get alot of good info. I have learned alot from many of you here. Some things you say I disagree with, goes with being different. Then you have a few real jerks here that just cause trouble, you get those people and have to learn to work around them. Bottom line I think alot of people here if we ever met would likely be good friends. Everyone have a Merry Christmas!

Most animal people are not people people. Any time you have somebody that is totally focused on something, they often don't deal with other situations or people well. Animals, cars, computers, you name it. Very good insight here DR.

True! and then there is always this...the only thing two dog trainers can agree on it that the third dog trainer is doing it wrong.

I totally agree but when I read about people calling one another horrible names with some of the worst language it makes it so vulgar. I love a healthy argument and I seem to learn alot from it. I commented on the arguing, but it was not because of the topic or the argument itself. It was because it became very personal and some horrible things were said that had absolutely nothing to do with GSD's. To me that just doesn't seem ok. Anyhow I am here to learn and I seem to be doing just that. Many of you seem so very knowledgable. I wasn't trying to be rude I was simply just stating how meant it really seemed to be. Anyhow Merry Christmas.

Most people I meet I wanna CHOKE !! Most dogs I meet, I just wanna kiss !! LOL, But seriously, there are way too many ignorant/arogant/idiotic people in the world with NO common sense ! Dogs at least have common sense, and even a shy one will come round with some xtra attention. :-)
