Beware. Martin Sokolovic sold the same dog more than twice. Fortunately I have the actual dog, unfortunately the others lost several thousands of dollars.

You need to give more information and some kind of proof  or  this post will be removed.

As requested per administration aka Western Rider, further information is being provided about Martin Sokolovic. I mentioned he sold the same dog at least twice. I have the dog in question. I recently posted him as my new sire on my website. One day after posting him on my website I received a phone call from CSI Canine Consulting Group Ltd. located in St. James Trinidad asking if I had the dog Collin Purodox and I stated yes. CSI stated how they were Googling for information about the dog then went on to explain how Martin Sokolovic sold him the same dog and it was overdue to be shipped. CSI stated each time they contacted Martin about the dog he told them it was a problem with shipping not to worry. CSI stated that Martin actually sold 2 dogs to CSI and were paid in full for both and they have not received either. CSI forwarded pictures of the pedigree, dog and passport he received from Martin for the same dog I have, I did check the dogs Tattoo it matches the copy of the pedigree I have. I purchased the dog from an associate who recently purchased the dog while in the Czech Republic and he sent the original pedigree in for transfer of ownership. I hope this satisfies the administrations request of further proof.

I very seldom comment on this database, because of the nonsensical response to the post. But I do need to say a couple of things about the scammers that plague this database and social media.
I had (have) an issue with a breeder from Germany Arthur Pierchalla (vom Gebenbacher Land Kennels).
I am still "holding my breath, waiting for my replacement puppies". It's been almost 2 years.
After posting proof of the scam that the ADMIN requested, nothing came out of it.
I know legally nothing can be done because of each state's legal policies, BUT what baffles me is WHY isn't Pedigree DataBase BLOCKING these so call breeders from abusing their platform and why isn't a "TAB" created on the DB identifying these dishonest people so that new and old members know who are the scammers out there.
PDB is it a Legal issue, an Advertisement issue, or a Moral issue?

Well  PfalzSteegen we do have a place for all to check for names of people and kennels that are ripping people off it is call the ripoff/scam report.

This is only as good as the members make it by reporting.

We do ban members who seem to be using this site in any manner to purposely scam the members.

We do not ban members just because a complaint is written about them.

 

Oh Okay, well why is Arthur Pierchalla (vom Gebenbacher Land Kennels) still being allowed to post dogs/puppies for sale under his "original username"?
He is "hiding in Plain Sight" because he was not blocked.

Because we don't have enough proof that he is using this site to scam.

Using the name you have given and the kennel name in a database search no information about him comes up.

When searching your post there is no reference about him either.

Now why would we ban him.

 

This story about Martin Sokolovic is true as i am the person who was ripped off and I have found out that I am not alone. He just scammed another of over 50,000 euros. In fact you have stories dating back to 2008 about Martin Sokolovic. Johan Greyling posted his experience some time ago. Poor guy lost his business because of Martin Sokolovic. He's been doing this scam for a very long time. Unfortunately I found this out after the fact. I purchased two dogs from him, paid in full but never received them. He kept giving me stories about shipping delays that didn't really add up. I decided to search the dogs pedigrees online and discovered that they were in the US. I made contact with the new owners who put me on to the person who sold them the dogs. To date I have not received any dogs nor my money back from Martin Sokolovic.

Can anyone tell me the name this person uses here.

Did you find these dogs from Ads posted here, if so, do you remember the dates and or titles of the Ads.?

It is very True that Martin Sokolovic has cheated many many people in the industry, including, I am embarrassed to say, myself. It is his MO to accept payment and then never deliver dogs promised or follow through with important paperwork documents such as Pedigree transfers. I paid him for one dog plus shipping and months later he had not delivered. Every day every week new promises no excuses. I talk to many others in the industry they related the same experience some of them were cheated for much more money than I was. I had somebody actually go to his place pick up the dog and I had to pay for shipping again. Now months later I am still waiting for the pedigree transfer and each time I get nothing but excuses.
