I just got a phone call from a man who says his son found my son's lost ITOUCH. I am ecstatic. Of course my son was miserable and I couldn't believe he hadn't downloaded the find my IPHone APP. A warning to all of you out there who have NOT downloaded that APP, do It now!  It has been 3-4 days and we thought it was gone forever. I finally sent a text message saying, REWARD offered if returned. I also prayed to God! What do you think worked the most?

He's going to drop it off tonight, seems he works in the same town I live..... I will be nervous until then, but what do you thinks is fair... $25 or more?

My son found a cell phone at a Turkey Hill once while I was puttin air in my tires. The cell phone battery was dead so we went to a Wal Mart to get a DC charger. The phone was really beat up .. it looked like garbage to me.

Once he charged the phone, he called a few of the numbers on the contacts and left messeges to find out who the phone belonged to. The owner called the phone back within minutes. He said he lost the phone 3 months ago and was in hopes someone would find and return it.

Here he just reordered a new phone from his provider 1 day before my son found it. This guy was so happy to get his phone back. When he got to the house he told my son some war story and how this phone saved his life. Then handed him a 50.00 bill, he said it was the least he could do. I was like NO WAY. I went to my money jar and got $30.00 out and gave it to the guy. The guy said he just reorder a new phone that costs $250.00 and he cancelled it when he heard from my son.

Well, I know his intentions were good, and my sons too ....  but it didn't feel right excepting $50.00 for about 20 mins of our time to find the owner of the phone.

I think $25 is plenty. He should be very happy with that.

If he takes the money it was the reward, if he doesn't it was God.

Expensive little suckers aren't they?

LOL  Ninja, I imagine price varies depending on who's touching.

The guy just dropped it off! We are so grateful. I gave him $25 for his kid... which he said he has 5 of them! I didn't ask questions, really, just glad it was back. You should have seen my son when he came home and I told him, "I got a phone call today."  And he looks at me, and says, "Yeah?"  So, next I said, "Have you been praying?"  And his eyes got real wide, and he yells, "YES! OMG! The Touch is found!"

LOL Miracles, they happen everyday. And it doesn't hurt to offer a reward, think of it as incentive for goodness' sake.

Ya, I'm sure he was happy to help,  his kids would love some spending money, AND your boy was happy  to have his phone back too.  Nice all the way around.
Still lots of good people in this world.
