As many of you know, Mittelwest is having their share of pain and difficulties with Dan Martinez being in the Intensive Care Unit for the past week. We would like for everyone to remember this family in your thoughts and prayers. For those of you who would like to help, I have set up an account and am taking up donations to help Dan and Julie. Each week for the next several weeks a fully cooked, ready to eat meal will be delivered to the Martinez Family. Along with gifts for the Children for Christmas. I feel that as small as this may be, at least this is one less thing Julie will have to worry about. If you would like to send a donation or would like to help please email me at gsdpups@msn.com and I will send further details and information. Please say a prayer for Dan and the Martinez Family. Sincerely, Beth Coats

Hi Beth! Prayers and wishes for a speedy recovery for Dan. What a wonderful idea to have meals sent to the house :-) My thoughts are with the family. Sue-Ann

Thanks Sue Ann, Since I live so far away from Dan and Julie I felt this would be something I could do from a far and hopefully it will ease a small portion of their stress. At least Julie will not have to worry about cooking for her kids and they will have good warm meals each week.Julie can concentrate more on getting Dan well!!

OMG i had no idea. Its awful when any family is hit with medical issues any time of the year and then during holidays especially with young children, its just terrible I feel awful for Julie she is so nice. Thank GOD for medical insurance, as i know how costly that can be with out it. my cousins little boy is battling Lupus, ITP and blood clots while being hit 2 times by the Hurricanes in FL and they are still living in a pop up trailer, all their clothes gone from the floods in their house electical things gone, its just like camping for 6 months with limited financial income from one spouse working while the other is transporting sick toddler while nursing one baby and the older one going to school.. not easy for anyone Julie has my prayers for sure! Those children of hers are sooo cute. I hope they are able to still be enjoy presents and all that fun kid stuff. Thank you for passing this along Regards, Dawnmarie
