Edit: Susie, damn, I didn't know that!    The website says he's retired, not dead! 

I was going to add this dog to the list last week as a dog to look for in the very near future as a V-rated male in both working ability and conformation.
I didn't because he hadn't been shown yet where he would have easily attained a V in conformation.

Unfortunately Aik died this past Sunday. He was only 3.5 years old. It appears Aik contracted lepto pending final toxicology reports.
Aik was purchased earlier this year by a friend of mine for another friend, the person I train with, for him to finish his titling and compete with him.
Aik was easily a top national level dog, and likely a dog of international level in IPO.
It is a very sad and tragic time for two families.
R.I.P. Aik! You were a handsome dog and warrior!!!

Sad story, but I'd post a memorial to him rather than just put his story in a thread about V rated dogs in the US.

A friend of mine here in the Chicago area just purchased this dog a couple of months ago.
His name is

Quatro vom Wällerhorst.

He is an incredibly nice Eliot von Prevent son out of Gisa vom Wallerhorst.
He will finish his titles. This dog is also capable of national level competition.
