How close?

by Mal07 on 25 June 2011 - 20:06

I can do as close as 2-3 on both stuart and alice or possibly do a 3-3 down the road. What does everyone think about this?

by maliman on 26 June 2011 - 03:06

do you have the dogd on the data base? I would try one for mondio?

by Mal07 on 26 June 2011 - 13:06

http://www.pedigreedatabase.com/belgian_malinois/breeding.result?fadir=898734&modir=1231553 That's the combo or I might also breed her to a norskey son.

Mal07, are you still campaigning Norskey?

by Mal07 on 26 June 2011 - 20:06

Yes, we will be competing in regionals for psa 1 and also FR1 this year

by maliman on 26 June 2011 - 22:06

who breed Maxeys? Tom? who owns this Dogs? what kinda of dog is norsky?
who did the breeding with that bitch name bannana ? it looks like they are still trying to sell that Litter?

I like Norskey a lot, but he's kind of an asshole.  Very hard bite, confident, reactive, atheletic, and tough.  Better not be a pansy or a spaz handling a dog like this.

Very well said! Not a dog you see everyday.

@ mal07

So sorry...had to fly out for a few days for a family funeral and just read your post :(

That linebreeding has always been my goal...lol

I too will be doing this within the year (but just a bit closer in the breeding)...I've been fortunate enough that I also met both Jason's sire Est and his dam as well as Asstra's...as well I met Elgos a couple times prior to his death...so I felt it gave me an advantage by knowing many of these dogs from a 1st perspective rather than what I read or heard from others.

I'm reading about Norskey (Jason could have been his clone based on the description)...lol can't help but laugh as Jason was an ass to be honest...tough, had definite boundaries....with him and I, it wasn't an alpha/beta relationship...we had what I call an 'understanding'...and it worked for us...one just didn't mess with a dog like that...he wasn't a dog for an inexperienced person...he was a one-person dog...his loyalty was unrivalled...and he could go from prey to civil and back to prey in a split second...a rookie decoy...Jason just knew instantly...it was a hazing per se...

Asstra was trained to Ring II and to this day at almost 11 her drive is through the roof and she still looks great...if you like you can send me your email and I can take a pic of her tomorrow for you...her hunt, retrieve, maternal instinct (she raises all pups..not just hers) bitework was superb....and her stability and sociability are unbeatable although if someone was to 'agitate' her without equipment...she would still follow through...holds 'no grudges' when it's over...and then do it all over again :)

Her father Urosh was probably the most beautiful Mali I've ever seen (none of his pics on the net do him any justice) and his credentials and progeny speak for themselves.

Jason's sire Est was VERY aggressive...and beautiful...when I was there...his owner said that to feed him while he was on shiftwork...the wife had to throw kibble through the chainlink...In training it took more than the handler to hold and contain this dog...

Jason's dam was very social, substantial, and according to her owner produced 'super working' pups.

So I hope this helps in your decision....the more info you have I feel the more chance of making an informed decision.

I hope this has helped.

All the best and I'd love for you to keep me posted!

B
