We sell nohingbut top quality dogs! You all have no idea where to get dogs if youare paying 5000-6000 for a dog. How can you pay 5000 for a dog train it and sell it to a department and make money, lol you cant. www.tristatek-9.com Jeff

Sure you can if you train good dogs, for instance Vohne Liche Kennels is the biggest k9 broker in the USA thats privately owned.  They sell theirs for more than that and are sell over 500 hundred dogs a year. Each canine course they hold is normally more than what most people can do in a two-three year period and they may hold up to 8 classes.

Some pd's can not afford the high priced dogs and some handlers get away with a cheaper priced dog that can do well, but then their are some that really have problems, yes they do well on their own training area with their own trainer but in a new area the problems show.

In fact, they hold a police k9 Olympics every year and many police depts show up from all over the US including, NSA, Pentagon and Secret Service. It's sorta a way to show your dog/s and training ability is quality!

Not that I know every working dog kennel out there but I do a lot or research and am scanning the internet constantly for working dog kennels/brokers/trainers/breeders/etc and I have never, ever heard of Vohne Liche Kennels.  I am not saying they are or are not the largest but I'd think that if they were the largest, i would have stumbled upon the name as some point over the years.

Words are cheap and nice sites are easy. How much does it take to train a good dog though? That's the real question do they put out good dogs. I don't care if they put out 10,000 dogs putting out 20 good dogs a year is better than 10,000 bad ones.

Anyone can stop in and see the facility, and check out the dogs to see if they put out good dogs. It's a normal type business with 9-5 hours so call first, they staff around 20 plus employees, it's a very big operation and you can see alot of dogs.
 
Vohne Liche is like no other kennel in the US, just drive up stop in and see them, take a dog and show them, they buy dogs green or pre trained.
 
I just replied  from the ''you can't make money if you buy a dog for 5k, lol you can't. Now someone steps and and says yes someone can, now we go words are cheap and nice sites are easy. OKAY!   Your correct, point proven on the other posting under FEMA and Protection  about the female malinois Kira that states she is Three Time World KNPV Champion, and all she did was place third in one championship trial not finished first in three different championship trials in three different yrs. Who posted that? 

And are they good dogs, no one else beside Lackland is putting out that many dogs, in fact Lackland, NSA, USSS, Army, Navy, TSA and Marines will purchase dogs and training through them. So after this group, I would say they must be doing very good dogs.
