Xephyr ot Vitosha and Nela z Dobranskeho haja: Nela was bred to Xephyr ot Vitosha and we are so excited about this litter. Anyone looking for a Malinois or having had a Malinois probably recognizes the kennel of Ivan Balbalanov; ot Vitosha. Ivan is one of the most accomplished dog trainers in the world and has won numerous Nationals here in the United States as well as international competitions overseas. We are very grateful to Ivan for allowing us to use one of his studs, especially one as nice as Xephyr. Xephyr is a large, masculine male with a large chest, light fawn colored body, with a black mask and dark eyes. He was bred and raised by Ivan and later sold to Helen. Xephyr has an IPO1, which he earned at the 2017 USCA Southeast Regionals with excellent scores. Nela is the first Malinois we added to our kennel and is a 55-pound package of pure muscle and energy. She has more drive than almost any dog I've seen. She's willing to please and would do anything for a ball, tug, or even food. Nela was imported from Slovakia and has excellent protection work and obedience. She earned her BH this past October and will obtain her IPO1 in the spring. She was rated "VD" for "Velmi Dobry" or very good in Slovakia and her hips and elbows were rated as normal in Slovakia and has an “A-stamp” on her pedigree. Nela’s temperament is very stable and her willingness to please is what attracted us to her. She has an “off-switch” in the house and can be a house companion. She’s good with children, cats, and other dogs, though she wants to be dominant. We expect these puppies to be top-notch working dogs and would like to see them go to working homes or very active family companion homes. They will make excellent candidates for IPO, SAR, PSA, Ring Sports, agility, and even police work. There’s nothing these puppies won’t be capable of in the world of working dog sports in the right hands! They will have high prey and food drives and will express stable temperaments like their parents. They will be structurally correct and will be guaranteed against health defects for two years and will be fully vaccinated, microchipped, and come with full AKC registration. These puppies will be raised within our household and exposed to children of all ages, cats, and other dogs.
