I am not new to the Sch sport and do not post on here very often, really just read everyone else's trash. What I think is sad is it is not the breed that needs to change it is the people. Every one on here is not interested in helping any one or giving good information, This message board is who has the prettiest, the best in working, the best in show, my dog is better then yours, I have a show dog that can out bite yours, give me a break, you people are pathtic. It is the same people on here day in and day out waiting to start some trouble. I think that it is people like you guys that are killing the sport and Shows with all of you lack of knowledge. Not every thread on here is about you. I think that it is a shame the way you people have conducted yourselves on here. If I was new to the sport and read some of the topics on here I would run as fast I can. My mom always said "If you can not say something nice do not say anything at all". Why can't we all get along???? There is already a lot of problems with the sport. Instead of attacting each other why can't all of you try to make the sport better. thanks Val....

Valentine.. Welcome to the board and congratulations on your first post TRASHING people! If you don't pick up good info here then you must not have a clue on what's going. Sure sometimes you have to read between the BS but it's herre to learn from. True some posts get out of hand but we do have a few real jerks here that start trouble but most here are excellent people.

Ecuse me Valentine2, do not lump me into the clay u just formed "everyone on here" .......you are very wrong. I just joined this board a month ago and I just got my first computor in July of this year. I have a web site that links to this database and I often wondered how do u do all of this and get to talk and read all of it. So one night I logged in and here it began . I feel the same way u do but not everyone on here is that way so dont accuse all of us. U should have said "I have notice there are a large number of those on this board that ...........Dont ever include me in that "everyone" I am a redhead from parents of Yankee desent that taught me to learn and I am a lecuter, soloist, a mother , a widow, a teacher, a dog trainer, a 48year experienced fashion consultant and o lover of the world i live in both good and bad and I hold myself accountable to the one Master of this universe and that is my Saviour and I have tried to learn and offer my experiences only to be called a babbler, stupid, cant type , cant spell and and insulter and u name it and I agree, "it is uncalled for" and I just emailed two of these people and ask them "how do we stop this". I will not be accused by you or anyone else of being selfcentered and all those other things u spilled out. U owe me an apology and I will be the first one to log out and never be involved in this embarassing board to be called as u see it, I started out in a Schutzhund club in Houston named Spring Valley and I ran the other way out of that club for that same reason. I wont be a part of battering or being battered. Guess you opened a can of worms. And I dont have any use for worms............I like Butterflies......

Shelly--I thought the Bold Ruler analogy was great! If he hadn't had that *Nasrullah temperament, he might have been easier on himself in training, but then he wouldn't have become a champion on the track, nor as a stallion. Bold Ruler passed on his fiesty temperament and sometimes bad knees, but when he was bred to a sound mare, he produced some outstanding runners: Secretariat, Wajima, Bold Lad, Queen Of The Stage, ect, ect... Now back to GSDs...

High school? I just blow past the crappy verbiage and try to find substance in the post. If you don't feel like your one of the people being referred to, then don't worry about it. You let them win when you argue back.

To get back to topic I was just speaking with a fella who has a strong working line dog who just sat in the back of the vehicle while he was being choked out and mugged. A few weeks later he bought a trainer conformation personal protection dog for real protection. All this talk about work and conformation? If you spend your time trying to judge a dog predominantly from its pedigree you will miss out on some top dogs.
