I cannot imagine why anyone would use Mr. Timothy Helser for any services. He is a complete liar. Yes, he did spend 90 days in jail for impersonating a police officer. This IS true. These charges were not dropped. He actually pled *guilty*. He has a rap sheet a mile long. Theft, fraud, etc. Don't just take my word for it, go here to find out for yourself: http://www.clerk.co.montgomery.oh.us/areacourt/pro/search_action.cfmParty=Helser%2C+Timothy&CaseNumber=&TicketNumber=

We ended up with a 97-91-98=286V, High Sch1, High in Trial. I gave him some steak for that one. :)

Now THAT's some good handling and training! I bet it can be found on a results page somewhere too.

USA did not implement these rules until 05. I understand what the rule book says, but that is not what occurred in USA Trials. There was a grace period given.

rpaulson52, sounds like you had a run in with the Master Trainer....

by LaPorte on 18 June 2006 - 23:06

Sorry - I wasn't there. It seemed really clear that the grace period was from Jan 1 2004 and Mar 1 2004. I know the clubs around me made the switch according to the rulebook, and it was really hard for those attempting their 1s with all the changes. How the rulebook reads "These trial regulations were drawn up by the AZG and were approved and voted on by the VDH board of directors on August 16, 2003. They will become effective on January 01, 2004, and will replace any prior regulations." "In an effort to ease the transistion of the changes in the rules and regulations of performance events, USA will implement the new changes in their entirety no later than March 01, 2004." Maybe there was a grace period that many of us didn't know about. Not trying to be argumentative, just reading my rulebook and remembering learning the changes in relation to a trial we entered.
