If you have SV registration on your imported pups you can then AKC register them. Why do you see this as fraud?

The AKC has no breeding requirements other than both are are registered. Does not matter how pathic the parents are.

I think that it is all depending on the "BIRTH PLACE" but I may be wrong. I will refer this question to the AKC and get back to you....

I never considered an AKC registration to mean born in the USA. I have always viewed it as a breed registering organization. There are American Quarter Horses (AQHA) bred, born, raised, and competed with worldwide. It's a breed, that's all.

I suspect if you live at the North Pole and bred puppies with AKC parents you can register the pups with the AKC. Do let me know what they tell you.

I think your right animules.

animules, are you referring to GSDs or American Quarter Horses? I think that we may be dealing with apples/oranges...but go for it....

American Bred = AKC registered dog with American lineage bred to another AKC registered dog with American lineage. Regardless of where the pups are born. German Bred = SV registered dog with German lineage bred to another SV registered dog with German lineage. Regardless of where the pups are born. Uwe

He was referring to the AKC is a registration and not limited to dogs born in the USA. The AQHA is the same as they register horses from all over the world.

VHDOOSEK9.. If you import a male and female SV registered pups, Register them as AKC and the bred them they are AKC pups. You cannot just register them as SV without meeting the SV breeding requirements. You would have two parents of German lineage with AKC registered pups.
