So, I've been lurking around a few working dog forums and I keep hearing such and such dogs are civil, etc etc. What exactly does a dog being civil mean?

I am hurrying to be the first to answer: In dog world it means the ability/ capability/ willingness of a dog trained or not trained to bite a man not wearing any gear.
