I was revisng a litter of puppies for their bites and noticed that one female I particualrly like is mssing two upper incisors. As I took them for vaccinations yesterday I asked the vet and he said no worry as they are only milk teeth. He did not think they had ever come through as there are no signs of them being broken off, but could they have come out? (this puppy loves biting and pulling though we have never played too rough with them. They are nearly 7 weeks old. There is a space where the teeth should be. Do you think this is casue for concern? is it possible/advisable to x-ray to see if the definitive teeth are there? Advice appreciated...

Well, you could always have it checked out if you're concerned. Sometimes the minor expense is worth it to sleep better at night! :)
Good luck!

Don't worry. A puppy can miss a lot of milk teeth. It has nothing to do with the "adult" teeth. No need to spend money or to place a puppy in X-ray.
Merry Christmas.

From my own experience...
My puppy was missing one upper incisor. I never thought much about it since it was a milk tooth. However it never did come in adulthood. There is nothing you can really do about it now, just make sure the buyer is aware that the pup may potentially be missing teeth.
