This litter is being promoted on pedigree database. If we check the age of dog Baru vom Haus Yu, its almost ten years. I was wondering if a dog can still produce at this age or not. If yes, thats really wonderful. What is the personal experience of breeders over here about this age limit of a dog. I mean what is the maximum age a male dog can produce?

Well obviously the dog still produces if there is a litter.
I have bred to a dog this old and have nothihng but awesome dogs as a result!! No problems if that's what you are asking....
I am sure the stud owner keeps up with these older studs with their vets....

Thats really wonderful if a dog can produce at this age and specially if he is Baru.

I too think it is excellent that Baru is still breeding at this age and is in excellent health! I have two gorgeous Baru sons that were born in June 2006 from my friend Harry Ortego. They have wonderful temperament and we couldn't be happier with them.

Our male Larry vom Karthago (imp Gmy) Schh3 IPO 3 KKL1aZ is 11 in Dec and has two young litters at the moment. He still loves the girls!! LOL
