Spook, you generalized. I was just making a small clause in your statement for people to remember, by giving my own personal situation.
I am certain that a large number of OVERALL dogs sold at this time of year do end up in not-so-great places, and that is very sad. :( No arguments there!

If I could get away with it, I'd buy myself a GSD puppy for Christmas LOL.

VomF, I understand. I'm not being as critical about the timing, but the sappy verbiage. It's an attempt to make a sale on emotions rather than real want or desire. Most reputable breeders have a large number of their pups sold before they're on the ground.

Blitzen, I did. Picked it up 2 weeks ago.

Spook--
You're too much. You started this whole thread, and I bet you'll make an excellent owner. There go all those beautiful ornaments. Have fun with the baby.

I traded a x-mas tree for the new puppy this year. Come to think of it, I traded the Turkey too. Not much I can do with his demanding litle butt. I went from the brightest house on the block last year to not one string of lights or even a tree. Safer for pup pup that way. Easier on me.

You all are making me feel bad. Now I really want a puppy LOL.

Tell you what Blitz. I'll ship you mine on loan until spring. LOL
by Blitzen on 15 December 2006 - 17:12
I'll take him but you can't have him back LOL.

Hmm let me think on that...he hasn't got on my last nerv yet.
