Like, hurricane Matthew is bound to be causing problems for eastcoast Florida! Hope folks are being safety minded as this powerful storm makes its path and land strike known. Looks like it won't be coming my way. Being spared that is good, except I wouldn't mind a bit of a tail-end rainfall. We need rain, it has been a very dry summer by East coast standards.
Batten down the hatchets, FL. In looks like you are in for a bumpy ride!

Beetree, here on the Gulf coast, we got the rain and the wind on and off for the day, really strong wind at night. Today we are all safe and sound with only some areas with spotty power. Thanks for thinking of us........

The irony up here is that we've been having warm, beautiful sunny days for it being Autumn. Maybe we get some rain tomorrow night?
How are your new neighbors? I remember you had some real losers and theifs living next to you before you left for TX, didn't you!

After getting a nice soaker rain from the ends of what was hurricane Matthew, the temperature suddenly dropped. Might even get a frost tonight, so I had to pick what was left of the peppers. Guess I will be stuffing them tomorrow.

I absolutely LOVE the fall weather. The colors have started and the air is full of that delicious crispness.

Fall is my favorite time of year. The leaves are just starting to turn color here in Ohio! I went on a walk this evening and had to wear a hoodie and gloves. Enjoyed looking at the porches decorated with mums and pumpkins etc,,,sets my mood just right :)

Glad you like my fall pictures! See here what a difference a week makes. And the heat came back, too, I turned the A/C on yesterday, it got so balmy feeling.
I guess you never made the move to KY? Do you still have your 🐴 horses? When I rode horses, way back when, my GF and I loved to cut through the old graveyard and gallop down the lanes of the apple orchard during this time of year.

Beetree - Yeah I had some interesting neighbors. One set of neighbors was awesome and their dogs used to play across the fence with mine. I do miss my 1/2 acre fenced back yard as do the dogs. I am currently living with my mom in her small 2 bedroom 2 bath house with a small fenced back yard that is zeroscaped which means no grass, just river rock and concrete. She has two small dogs (Shih-Tzu and Maltese). Hoping to find a house to buy soon. Love my mom but you know how it is, she is having some health issues with the allergy season here. Finally made it to Dr. Now working at getting a job with a municipality as a therapist for first responders. Do miss the seasons in Texas and the generally nice people. Where else can you go to Walmart on a super busy Saturday and meet nothing but nice friendly polite people lol.
