What is the reasoning behind the proposed change to the retrieve? Why change the exercise as it is now - it works, and completes the objective of the dog to RETRIEVE a dumbell thrown BY THE HANDLER. I can see a handler who has difficulty throwing due to physical limitations seeking the assistance of a trial official for these exercises, but to change it for everyone would be silly and contradictive to the intent of the RETRIEVE.
