Here is a short vid of a young bitch of mines filmed at 18 months of age. (Have had Bertha since 8 weeks old)

The purpose of this training was to observe her in the muzzle without any dancing decoys pushing her into drive.

In my opinion when a dog is NOT in drive - this is when you are most likely to see any aversions they have to wearing the muzzle, I also believe a relaxed dog in the muzzle doing mundane things, is indicating they are not associating wearing that piece of equipment with man work training.

Should have said - in Europe trained muzzled dogs in underground / train stations are common place.
