Register a dog *help* - Page 1

Hi all, I am trying to register some dogs. For most of them I have both parents and for some I have only one parent. All of the parents of the dogs I am trying to register are in the database already. However when I go to register them it comes back with the error message "SORRY Neither parent was found in our database". Is this a common problem or am I doing something wrong? I mean I have the parents, they come up as being in the database already, names are spelt correctly - what's going on? Hope someone can help :)

this does happen sometimes...try typing in all the info but only type in the parents first name, and then it will give you a list of dogs to pick from, if that doesn't help then try typing in the last name of a dog. for example. my dog Della von Westfork any time that I put in a dog that is out of her I have to type Westfork for her name and then the system will correct it and put in her full name..otherwise it says that she is not in the system. Yup, and some dogs have a "V" or other prefix as part of their name. so if you enter it without it -- it's not recognized.
