On september the 18th 2014 German Sheperd male AIK disappeared in Diemen, Netherlands. He was probably stolen. Please help us to find him back!

Aik is back home! He was delivered at the local police-station and via the Animals-Ambulance reunited with his happy owner! :-)

jerzypawlik,
--Different dog, different name. This dog is Aik; the other dog's name is Tarkan.
--Different scenario. Tarkan disappeared when three men who were thought to be of Polish origin attacked a man, severely beat him up, then stole not only the man's fishing gear, but his dog as well.
--Different location. Both in the NL, but two different areas.
--The post about Aik was made two days ago. The post about Tarkan was last month. Again, different dogs, places, situations.
Finally, speaking as the granddaughter of Polish immigrants to the US, I see nothing wrong with the mention of the possibility that the attackers of Tarkan's owner were of Polish origin. If you were attacked by three men who spoke to each other in Hungarian, would you not suspect your assailants were of Hungarian origin, and include that information when you reported the attack to the authorities? As with every nationality, there are Poles who do terrible things, too--most people of any given nationality are not bad people, but it's foolhardy not to acknowledge that some of them are.
I didn't get the impression that there was any ill intent in the information that was provided about how Tarkan came to be stolen. It was just mentioned as a means of possibly identifying who people in that area should be on the lookout for, clearly.
