Idea for a new feature. Localisable pedigree - Page 1

Hi all,

Just wondering.  If I would create a snippet to insert into any page on any website that would show a pedigree,  would anyone use it?

The idea is that users could plug into their own web-page something like 

<script>
var pdb_dogid="27"; 
</script>
<script src="http://www.pedigreedatabase.com/pedigree.js"></script>

and on their page a pedigree would show with 3 generations.  It could even be traversable (i.e. click ancestor to get his/hers pedigree) 

The visitor wouldn't get redirected to pedigreedatabase.com, but would be on your webpage.  Of course any data would need to be modified and inserted here.

So,  would anyone use this?  (of course the price would be a generic "created by pedigreedatabase.com" link somewhere on the bottom..

Isn't there already something like this? I see pedigrees inserted like what you're describing onto other sites all the time...

Yes! I would use it, for sure. 

I think this will be used a lot. I see sites try and find ways to copy and paste pedigrees or use Iframes and this will be so simple to use. Plus the reciprocal links will be very beneficial to all.
