exactly what the title says..... I am wanting to get my license from the DEA..... I just wish to know more information on this and what is the best route to go.... I have a boxer he will do article search and really whatever else you ask him to do but I would like to start working for some counties around my area as a helping hand for drug search. If anyone has good knowledge on this please help me I am just starting out and I want to do everything right the first time..... Also how much everything costs would be great. Thank you.

Contact your local DEA office for the paperwork you will need. You want to decide what schedules you will want as far as drugs, II, III are the ones that have what most trainers use.
When you submit the paperwork in, they will tell you about an interview and inspection of your place and you will need a safe to keep them in.
If any names on your paperwork are tied to any criminal convictions, you wont get approved.
They will tell you where to order from as well as provide you order forms.
Keep in mind that i got mine back in 1985 and some things may have changed since then.
Last thing , you will have to justify your training as far as detection dogs, good luck.
