my dogs love them, and they last a good long while.
except for moose, dogs go thru them too quickly for the $$

My friends bitch cracked a major tooth on one, eventually had to be pulled. 5 Years old...?? Could happen on anything also BUT just a word of caution.

You might want to check around. I've been hearing reports of dogs breaking teeth on them.

Thanks...i don't want cracked teeth. Will look around. We have a lot if shed ones by use and the digs love them but they are hard!

Have never and will never give antlers to my dog. Saw a picture from a vet once of a dog that swallowed part of an antler whole and you could see the antler trying to exit through the dog's chest. It was horrifying - could probably happen with anything but it was shocking enough for me that I'd never want to give it.

Antlers are for squirrels, not dogs. Betcha wolves and bears leave them alone.

I won't give them to my dogs either as they are too hard and can easily break teeth.

Lived in Wyoming and there was antlers galore abundance. Even when I tried, non of my dogs ever had any interest in them.

....mine were interested in them for first 2-3 days....thats was it...there isn't much to chew on and for the $ you can get 3 x the amount of beef bones...
