This is my brilliant puppy Ziggs. His mother was pure GSD and unsure what his father was. I'm thinking Pitbull x Boxer mix. Thoughts?

I see nothing boxerish about this pup. More like most of the cute pit crosses i've met. And from the look of him he takes after the father rather strongly. Because if you didn't say his mother was a GSD i'd of not guessed that one either. And i'm usually pretty good a guessing phenotype.
I like the color and love his white splashes. Great marking. I'm sure he'll make a great companion and maybe a workong dog?
What are you plans for him?
Have fun, they are puppies for such a short time.

Thanks for the reply!
He is a joy. 9 months old now and very smart and great around all dogs and people. He's weighing in at ~78 lbs now and I live in rural Canada so theirs lots of space for me to venture with him. He walks off leash, never goes far and loves to swim and retrieve sticks/toys for me in ponds. He listens brilliantly and he learns very quickly. He is always with my girlfriends 9 year old Golden Retriever daily, and has learned lots from her. He has never shown any signs of aggression and hasn't humped me or any other humans yet.
Here's a few better recent ones of him!

Yeah, if you didn't know Mom was a GSD, like 'Fry I certainly wouldn't
have guessed it.
Maybe you'll find the GSD comes out in his temperament, rather than his
looks ?
Sweet lookin' pup, though. I'd concur re Pit but not Boxer, apart from his
colours (but don't say 'Pit' too loud if you are in one of the areas that bans them !)
Have fun with him.

His temperament is definitely GSD. He'll bark if he hears any noises in the house at certain hours, or if someone comes to the door, but warms up quickly. He also knew how to sit, down, hug at 10 weeks, so he was definitely very bright. Learns very easily by hand movements and gestures. Very cuddly at morning and evening hours.
The only province in which Pitbulls are illegal in Canada is Ontario. Luckily I live in Newfoundland so we're all good:)
Here's a few pictures of his littermates:

I see the "shepherd look" in his face/expression... and I really see it in that first picture on your above post of his siblings. I would *guess* GSD/pit.
He is really cute though, whatever he is!

Wouldn't it be a hoot if the ears stood up like a GSD? Cute pup.

Actually i see a lot of "Junkyard" pit with fully stand up ears.

Of course they are suppose to have rose of folded ears

But sometimes even shepherds go awry

and of course there are always a few extreme cases.

Ho ho ho ! Very good, Fry.
Actually, in the first two (but not 3 & 4) of Caapi's 3rd set of pix,
I can now see what Dawolf sees, in the 'expression' - it is there,
but its about the only physical hint of Shepherd.
