A few people on the forum have asked that I keep them updated on my progress with Lily (GSD) and Zeux (APBT). We've made progress in leaps and bounds over the last several days! I've used some of the suggestions given here in this forum (thank you VERY much!) and am quite pleased with the past 2 day interaction between these two. Zeux was laying in his spot under the end table this morning. Lily walked over to him, and when he gave her a, "Not today young lady!" low-growl.... She sort of just looked at him, gave him a look like, "Pffft!" and went over and laid down across the room from him. They've played together once today and when Zeux had enough she left him be. I am thrilled to say the least! It's like a switch went off in Lily's head and she is finally getting it. I am sure there will be setbacks, as she is young and still learning. I'm just glad to know what I am doing is working with her. I just wanted to share. I am feeling so good about it. My fiance was at his wits end, and it's been so much nicer with the dogs interacting the way they should. YAY! lol
I shared this picture via PM with someone here and want to share it here in this post as well. This was 2-3 weeks ago. Just showing that the dogs weren't absolute monsters when they were together. It just seemed like it sometimes because it was starting to get out of hand. Also, am including pictures of Lily from today. She just turned 6 mos. a few days ago. Give or take.

Thank you! This morning they have been doing good together too! So far.... I know we're going to have setbacks. I'm just enjoying the peace and quiet right now 
. We're still working on getting Lily to ignore other dogs on our walks. She does fine if another dog is getting walked too. It's the dogs behind fences that she seems to want to get at. But, making progress. Slowly, but surely.
