Said goodbye to Gladys today. 10 good years with the sweetest girl i ever met. We are going to miss her dearly around here.
Took her to the vet for an eval. because she's been not eating well, throwing up and having loose stools. X-Ray showed she had a mass in the area of her liver or spleen. She's been losing weight, and i think this tumor has been stealing all her energy. We let her go quietly. Put her in the back yard with her mother and brother.

Sorry for your loss, 'fry. Shame you didn't get a few more years together...but 10 years is a good run. I'm sure you'll still catch yourself talking to her, and expecting to see her coming around a corner or snoozing in a patch of sunlight shining in through the window. It never gets any easier...
